Here are 6 queer films that explore queerness, independence, sex, and relationships… while playing within the realm of the horror genre or leaning towards it. I love that whenever queer films decide to play away from the drama and comedy genres, they tend to jump to horror, which allows for more exciting ideas and themes to be explored, I think. Some films go full on horror and become full on slashers, while some become awesome punk wave, others move towards the cult-ish side but at their core, they’re queer.
